Link exchange with Link widget or Dropdown Blogroll

Link exchange is an important blogsosphere element, It is one of simple and easiest way build “social life”, self-promotion and solidarity among blogger to get more traffic, increase pagerank and blog SEO. Some of high traffic site/blog with hundreds of thousands of traffic such juancole.come or dailykos.com still do link exchange. There are at least two methods to do the link exchange on wordpress, in addition to a number of other ways :

1. Using Link widget

Do the following:

Click the “Manage” or “Manage”
Click on “Links” or “Links”
Manage Links -> click “add new” or “Add New” (see screenshot )
Fill in the box available with the name, description and url address of a site that will be added. Example: abcjobcenter.com. URL: http://abcjobcenter.com (see screenshot)
Click “Save” or “Save”. Done.

#How to Edit Links / Blogroll Links:
If you want to change the name or URL address list blogroll that you add, then do the following:

Manage / Manage -> click
Click “Edit” or “Edit” in the name that will be in-edit.- To remove, you click “Delete” or “Delete” lying side by side with the menu “Edit” or “Edit”
Click “Save” after editing.
Done.

Activate Blogroll Widget:

Widget Blogroll will not visible in your sidebar until you activated or added it to your sidebar control panel. How to activate the widget:

Click “Design” or “Design”
Click on “Widgets”
Click the “Add” or “Add” in the widget “Links”
Click “Save Changes” or “Change Update”
Done.

2. Using Dropdown Blogroll

Do the following:

Click Design -> Widgets -> Text -> Add to your sidebar -> Save / Save.
Click “Edit” or “Edit” in the Text Widget, then simply Copy / paste the entire code below

Change the URL address and it’s description as you want.
Click “Save Changes” or “Change Update”
To add more link copy /paste one complete link code above ( from ” <li> to </li> )and modify its url address and its description

Note:
You can modify width and heigth the dropdown blogroll and make it match with your sidebar wide by edit value of width or heigth at the html code.
